Find Your Running Crew
Ask any longtime runner their secret and most will not mention shoes or gels. They will mention people. A crew turns “I should run” into “see you at six” — and that accountability is worth more than any carbon plate.
Match Pace, Then Personality
Start with pace: you want a group where you can hold a conversation for most of the run. Then check the vibe — coffee-after crews, sunrise-silent types, chatty long-runners. The right fit keeps you coming back.
Show Up Three Times
The first run you are a guest, the second you are a familiar face, the third you are crew. Commit to three sessions before deciding. Everyone remembers being new, and good clubs — including ours — assign a buddy to newcomers.
Give Back Early
Cheer the last finisher, learn names, volunteer at one race. Crews thrive on reciprocity, and nothing bonds runners like handing water to someone at mile 20.
Ready to meet yours? Our group runs welcome every pace, and your first session is free.
